Spring or winter???

I have to say, the calendar says it is spring, and we have had a few nice days, but Mother nature constantly is telling me that it is still winter. We keep getting snow! Even my tulips and daffodils are confused. I had a daffodil that bloomed yesterday, and by the end of the day, was bent clear over and covered with snow. I am really ready for constant spring. I love snow in the winter, but I am ready for just rain and sun. That is my wish for today.

2 Year Olds

I sometimes wonder how we mothers ever manage to get through the 2 year old stage. We love our children so much, but then they have a moment or a day, or a week or whatever that I think "Oh my gosh, I can't take it even one more minute".
I love my little Joseph to death. He is so sweet, but today, I am exhausted. I have been working on a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle, and have worked on it for weeks. It's very hard. I came in this morning, and he had totally destroyed it. Then he dumped out all of Jacoys red nail polish, and painted his clothes, and all his fingers(beautiful), then we went to walmart to the vision center for Ammons eye appt. and he messed up all the toys, dumped out the crayons, and when I was cleaning that up, ran out and was touching all the glasses. The we were walking down the isle to the electronics, and he kept reaching out and knocking things off the shelves. Needless to say, I was so irritated by the time we got to the car. I just want to scream. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Yay Spring!

So I have decided that i am really glad for spring. I thought I was ok with winter still, but we went to Ammon's track meet today, and with the warmth, and the slight breeze, and the green grass, and the flowers coming up, I decided that I am enjoying it.
It was fun to watch my son in his first track meet today. He didn't win, but he did good for him, and I was proud. Maybe it's because I used to do track, but I really enjoy watching the meets. Can't wait for the next one.
I am in a biggest Loser contest with Aarons work. I love having to be accountable to someone else for weigh in. I am doing good. 11 lbs down so far. Just wanted to say that. I am happy with my progress.
